As an artist, my primary interest is the human figure. I try to explore the many dimensions that sculpture offers in representing this figure—as both body and soul. My work seeks to juxtapose the concrete nature of the body and the supple, almost transparent nature of the soul. I strive to attain a fluid blending of the corporeal and spiritual.

As a landscape designer, I am interested in the many textures that nature offers (wood, stone, earth, and water). I hope to bring these different textures to my sculptures. At the same time I try to bring the harmony of the human figure into my landscape designs. I enjoy offering these two services together in one.
